We enjoy the challenges that our diverse customer base presents to us on a daily basis. You keep requesting more training offerings and are always asking “what’s next”! We constantly strive to improve and expand our course offerings to meet your needs here at Heritage Training and Shooting Center. From a wide range of basic to advance courses, our Firearms Academy is designed to hone your firearm skills no matter your experience level.
With this in mind we are excited to announce we now offer courses developed by the National Rifle Association (NRA). The NRA is a leader in firearm training whose courses are developed to help you learn everything from basic shooting skills to teaching others the knowledge and skills to safely use a firearm.
NRA’s Basic Pistol Shooting Course will teach you shooting fundamentals and proper operation of Revolvers and Semi-Automatic Handguns. In addition, this instructor led course covers handgun selection, inspection, maintenance and more.
NRA Instructor Pistol Shooting Course teaches the knowledge, skills and attitude essential to organizing, promoting and teaching NRA’s Basic Pistol Shooting Course.
I am also very pleased to introduce Frank Disbrow, a very experienced firearm trainer and a NRA Counselor, to our cadre of certified instructors. Frank trains all levels of firearm enthusiasts but especially enjoys training, mentoring and certifying NRA instructors. With the addition of these new NRA courses our Firearms Academy is even better suited to supporting all shooters at any stage in their journey.
Another new offering this month is the custom CompTac holster shop within our retail department. We know the challenge and frustration of finding the right holster for concealed carry, competition or just packin' on the back forty. Please come in and present our experts your holster requirements and let them custom fit the equipment to you right in the shop.
